The Alternative Travel Awards
Held at the London Hilton Metropole Hotel, Jonny joined over 1,000 guests at the annual Alternative Travel Awards, conducting an entertaining auction raising vital funds for the chosen charities.
Cricket at Christmas
At the final event of Surrey Cricket’s stalwart Jonathan Batty’s testimonial year, Jonny hosted and auctioneered at his Christmas Lunch celebrating his 10th year with the club. With guests including the Rt Hon John Major, Alec Stewart and entertainment from Stavros Flatley, everyone got into the Christmas spirit whilst raising fund for the PCA Benevolent Fund and the CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund.
Sportsman’s Christmas Lunch
As auctioneer and host at The Sportsman’s Christmas Lunch, Jonny harnessed the Christmas spirit and raised a phenomenal amount of money for three worthy charities. Held at The Brewery, London, the event was the first in the calendar for David Barnes’ Testimonial Year and incorporated a Christmas Quiz, where tables competed against the professionals, which included Will Greenward, Joe Worsley and Steve Borthwick.
Christina Noble Charity Dinner
After the success of last years’ event, Jonny was asked to return and auctioneer at the Christina Noble Charity Dinner held at the Dubai 7’s tournament. With guests that included Austin Healey and RWC Winner Will Greenwood, Jonny raised significant funds for the charity.

United For Unicef Dinner
Sunday was no day of rest for Jonny, who auctioneered at Manchester United's 'United for Unicef' for the third consecutive year, raising over £50,000 for the charity. Joining Jonny was host Patrick Kielty with a performance from The Saturdays; with guests including Alex Ferguson, Wayne and Coleen Rooney, as well as over 400 local dignitaries.
Lord's Taverners Dinner
Returning for the fourth year, The Lord's Taverners Dinner is an event that Jonny readily anticipates and this year was no exception. Attended by Chris Tarrant and Austin Healey, Jonny raised in excess of £40,000 for the charity.
Moody and Murphy
Celebrating International rugby stars Lewis Moody and Geordan Murphy's joint testimonial, Jonny auctioneered at their Starsky and Hutch themed dinner held at the fantatsic Battersea Evolution in London. With an audience of over 1,000 guests, including England's Team Manager Martin Johnnson, Austin Healey and Matt Dawson, Jonny raised over £100,000 for the chosen charity Hope HIV.
League Manager’s Association
In front of prolific Football Managers Sir Alex Ferguson, Harry Redknapp and Howard Wilkinson, Jonny auctioneered at the LMA 1000 Club Dinner, held at the Hilton Park Lane, London. Amongst an audience comprising primarily of footballing legends and also 2005 Ashes winner Michael Vaughan, Jonny generated over £100,000 for the LMA Community Fund.
Bobby Moore Fund Sports Ball
In front of patrons David Seaman and Gareth Gates, Jonny hosted the Bobby Moore Fund Sports Ball in aid of Cancer Research at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London. Around £150,000 was raised in the evening, with guests Ossie Ardiles, Tony Gale and legendary West Ham striker Tony Cottee all in attendance.
Sporting Speaker of the Year
Jonny returned to host the Sporting Speaker of the Year Lunch at the Hilton Park Lane, London. Introducing candidates Bob Champion, Barry McGuigan, Nigel Redman and deserved winner Paul Merson to the audience, Jonny was thrilled to see amongst several sporting stars one of his all time heroes, rugby legend Michael Lynagh.
Lawrence Dallaglio Foundation Dinner
Jonny was thrilled to auctioneer at the 8Rocks exclusive party for the inaugural Lawrence Dallaglio Foundation Dinner. Over 500 privately invited guests attended the event at the Battersea Evolution for a night of glamour and excitement, which included performances from Lemar and Keane’s Tom Chaplin. Prince Harry privately attended to provide the evening with a regal presence, alongside rugby royalty and supermodel Jodie Kidd, where Jonny raised over £130,000 in auction.
RFU Centenary Dinner
At the RFU Centenary Dinner held at Twickenham, Jonny auctioneered to an audience of 800 rugby enthusiasts, which included 1980 Grand Slam Skipper Bill Beaumont current England Manager and RFU player of the century, Martin Johnson and RWC winner Will Greenwood.

Grand Prix Ball
Held outdoors at a spectacular venue in the middle of Abu Dhabi golf course, Jonny acted as auctioneer for the charity Fresh2o at the Grand Prix Ball and entertained an audience of over 700 guests that included local dignitaries and royalty. Following a phenomenally successful auction, where he raised a life changing quarter of a million pounds, Jonny joined attendees, such as Janet Jackson to dance the night away to the sound of the Gypsy Kings.
Rat Pack Party
Jonny relished the chance to act as auctioneer for cricketer Jonathan Batty, held at Kensington’s Royal Garden Hotel. As the last cricketer in a long line of much loved Surrey Beneficiaries previously presided over by Jonny, the Rat Pack themed dinner was a successful night enjoyed by ex England international cricketers Mark Ramprakash, Mark Butcher, and the Strictly Come Dancing Stars.
Tesco Conference
Held at the beautiful Celtic Manor resort, Jonny hosted “Ready Steady Tesco”, a Quiz promoting items from Tesco’s Christmas range to delegates at the Tesco Conference in association with BskyB.
EMB Ball
Jonny acted as MC and auctioneer at the EMB Ball, which was hosted at Old Billingsgate. For the fourth year in a row, Jonny returned to host the typically expected raucous event, raising a stunning £160,000 at auction.
Cricket Season Finale
Held at Old Billingsgate, Jonny acted as auctioneer for the sixth continuous year at the PCA Annual Awards Dinner. Alongside Cricketer of the Year Andrew Strauss and Ashes winning Captain Michael Vaughan, coupled with an amazing performance from Keane frontman Tom Chaplin; Jonny raised important funds for the PCA Benevolent Fund.
EMB Ball
Jonny returned as MC and auctioneer for his fourth year at the annual EMB ball, which was held at Old Billingsgate, London. As a well-established riotous affair, the evening did not disappoint in mood or money raised; with Jonny raising a stunning £160,000 at auction.

This year‚s PCA Awards Dinner at Old Billingsgate was Jonny‚s sixth as auctioneer in the company of cricket legends Andrew Strauss, Darren Gough and Michael Vaughan, at crickets' biggest night of the year.
Jason Leonard's Blankety Blank
Jonny presented and auctioneered at Jason Leonard's Annual Charity Dinner, which featured a star line up including Will Greenwood, Jeremy Guscott and Lewis Moody playing a raucous version of the well-known game show 'Blankety Blank'. Held at the Grosvenor Hotel on London's Park Lane, Jonny raised a substantial amount for The Prader Willi Syndrome.

News Readers Got Talent
Jonny auctioneered for the ŒNews Readers Got Talent‚ event held at Vinopolis to a host of the UK‚s TV news teams. Alongside a substantial amount of money being raised for charity, the star-studded crowd was treated to fellow news reader‚s renditions of Grease, The Sound of Music and Amy Winehouse all of which were judged by Piers Morgan, Ulrika Johnson and Arlene Philips.
Rainbow Trust Celebrity Sports Quiz
At this Celebrity Sports Quiz, including the likes of Jason Leonard and Mike Gatting, Jonny found the experience as a guest rather than auctioneer an interesting one. His presence was certainly noted by the auctioneer of the evening, his old friend Matt Lorenzo; who commented that Jonny‚s experience and expertise was an intimidating example to live up to!
Golf at the Grove
Jonny enjoyed a day of golf at The Grove as the a guest of The Daily Telegraph and joined famous sporting figures such as Alan Hansen and Derek Pringle. Jonny also hosted the post golf event and his interview with Alan rounded off a fantastic day, triggering a huge amount of positive comments from Telegraph customers
Tony Hadley Golf Classic
Spandau Ballet’s front man, Tony Hadley invited Jonny to auctioneer at his annual Golf Classic, raising funds for Action Medical Research. Jonny, who entertained an audience that included Bobby Davro and Ralf Little, at the end of the auction received a standing ovation.
Fulham FC Awards
Jonny auctioneered at Premiership Team Fulham’s Annual Awards Dinner. With an audience filled with members of the Fulham Squad and Management at the Grosvenor on London’s Park Lane, Jonny raised significant amounts for the charities involved.
Golfing in the Sun
Jonny was again asked to auctioneer at the annual RMHC Golf Day held in Spain where he entertained guests including football legends Pat Jennings and Geoff Hurst.
Access Sport Charity Dinner
In the heart of London’s South West, at the prestigious Hurlingham Club, Jonny auctioneered for Access Sport, entertaining guests and raising money in the company of sporting heroes such as James Cracknell, Pat Cash and Mike Catt.
Ashes Q&A
Kicking off the NatWest Cricket One-Day Series between England and Australia, Jonny hosted a Q&A between innings at the first game held at the Oval for the PCA. The guests enjoyed light-hearted and fun Q&A between cricket legends Graham Thorpe and Merv Hughes, regaling Ashes tales of old.

Jonny is now co-hosting Chelsea TV alongside former International footballer Kerry Dixon, every Friday night live on Sky Channel 421 from 7.00pm. Jonny and Kerry conduct a lively phone in fielding topical and controversial live questions from Chelsea fans.
Eve of 4th Ashes Test Dinner
Jonny was both host and auctioneer at Yorkshire Cricket's dinner held on the eve of the 4th Test match between England and Australia. The evening followed the Australian theme with the well-known TV presenter and writer Clive James addressing the events' guests.

Jonny was auctioneer at A Sporting Tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh presented by CCPR. Jonny raised vital funds for three charities and was joined by performers including Rory Bremner and Strictly Come Dancing’s Darren and Lilia.
Ashes Dinner
In the week leading up to the second Ashes test at Lords, Ricky Ponting hosted The Ponting Foundation Ashes Dinner where Jonny was the auctioneer. In the company of Australian cricket legends such as Adam Gilchrist and Glenn McGrath, Jonny raised a huge £170,000 for the fight against children’s cancer.
Bobby Robson Golf Classic
Jonny flew to Portugal for his 3rd consecutive year auctioneering at the Bobby Robson Golf Classic. His efforts in the evening’s auction were reflected with the highlight being the final item - a Sir Bobby Robson signed golf shirt raising a huge £14,000. Also present on the trip were football legends Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce and Pat Jennings.
Pre-Ashes Pondering
Jonny was at Lords Cricket Ground auctioneering and skilfully unearthing some rare cricket insights in a pre-ashes Q&A with Jason Gillespie and Jeff Thomson batting for the Australian team and Graham Thorpe and most capped cricketer of all time Alec Stewart batting for England. With a room full of past and present cricket legends, Jonny rounded off the night with the 5 auctions items raising over £20,000.

England Captain's Ashes Launch
England Captain Andrew Strauss began preparations for the upcoming Ashes duel hosting his testimonial dinner at London's Guildhall with cricketers past and present from England and Australia. Jonny conducted a hugely successful auction watched by England Twenty 20 captain Paul Collingwood, Ryan Sidebottom and Nasser Hussain.

With just days to go before flying out to South Africa for the 2009 British and Irish Lions tour, Ian McGeechan, Shaun Edwards, Ronan O‚Gara, Phil Vickery and other members of the touring party joined Joe to celebrate his testimonial year. Jonny was the auctioneer raising monies for Joe‚s chosen charities.
End of Season Awards
Jonny raised an amazing £100k for the PRA Benevolent Fund at the annual rugby Awards Dinner, held at the Grosvenor House on Park Lane. Amongst the company of rugby greats both past and present including Delon Armitage, Jerry Guscott and Mike Catt, Jonny celebrated the end of the domestic season with this fantastic auction.
Bunbury's Bashes
Jonny was delighted to host a Q&A with some of England and Australia's finest sportsmen at the Bunbury's Bashes Dinner held at the Grosvenor Hotel on London's Park Lane. Regaling Ashes stories of the past were sporting heroes Sir Ian Botham, Freddie Flintoff, David Gower, Jason Leonard and Allan Lamb for England and Dennis Lillee, Jeff Thompson and Rod Marsh for Australia.
Lunching with Football Legends
Jonny was invited to auctioneer at a function for the Professional Footballers' Association at Old Trafford and was in the company of footballing legends Mike Summerbee and Frank Stapleton.

Award Hosting in Paris
Jonny was a huge success hosting the International insurance brokers Jardine Lloyd Thompson's in-house business awards dinner held in Paris. It was a tremendous evening with Jonny, in his much-enjoyed role as host, keeping the atmosphere light and humorous whilst delivering a slick awards show.
Question of Sport Dinner
Jonny helped launch England cricket captain Andrew Strauss's Benefit Year at Lord's, auctioneering in the company of sporting greats Lawrence Dallaglio, Matthew Pinstent and Tim Henman raising over £50,000 for Andrew's chosen charities.

Jonny interviewed Michael Sheen for The Telegraph to talk about his portrayal of legendary football manager Brian Clough in the new film "The Damned United". They both discussed their love of football, with Jonny discovering that at a young age Sheen had visions of being Kevin Keegan rather than Lawrence Oliver.

Jonny hosted alongside BBC presenter Michael Burke at a financial conference for 2,500 delegates in London's Olympia where he entertained the crowd from a 30ft platform driving Santader's message to "Be the Best".

Jonny auctioneered at Knowesly Hall in the company of Sam Allardyce, Gary Gillespie and Kenny Dalglish helping raise £300,000 for The Marina Dalglish Foundation.
HMV Football Extravaganza
The 14th HMV Football Extravaganza Dinner this year honoured footballing legend Harry Redknapp. Jonny auctioneered, sharing the stage with The Saturdays who performed their chart hits. He raised over £145,000 for the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Fund, with the star auction item of the night, two teams managed by Harry and Jamie Redknapp respectively, to play at White Hart Lane fetching £32,000. In attendance were football stars Frank Lampard and Les Ferdinand.

Olympians and Rugby Dinner
Jonny kicked off 2009 auctioneering at a sporting dinner on Park Lane in the company of Olympic winner Nicole Cooke and sporting heroes Phil Tufnell and Mike Catt. Jonny raised much valued funds for the events' charity, the NSPCC.
